Social care in Britain: from crisis to sustainable care

Registration is closed for this event
Britain’s social care system is at breaking point, with growing numbers of people unable to receive the care they need. What are the causes of this crisis, and what would it take to build a care system that meets the needs of adults with chronic health problems or disabilities, their families and care workers?

Patrick Hall, a social care policy researcher, will outline the forces behind Britain's social care crisis, and explore what we can learn from the experiences of the UK’s four nations and other countries in shaping a more sustainable system.
